ROSEAU COUNTY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A tragic two-truck collision occurred southwest of Warroad in Roseau County on Tuesday evening around 6:00 PM. The crash took place at the intersection of County Road 12 and 530th Avenue. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, an International semi, driven by 39-year-old Tyson Emil Lovejoy of Warroad, was traveling eastbound on County Road 12 when it collided with a southbound International straight truck at the intersection.
The driver of the straight truck, 59-year-old Richard Lee Hasbrouck of Warroad, was killed in the crash. Tyson Lovejoy and his 11-year-old passenger, Eli Elton Lovejoy, both sustained non-life-threatening injuries. All involved were wearing seat belts, and alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
