FARGO (trfnews.i234.me) – Amire Logan, a man arrested after a fatal shooting in south Fargo last June, now faces four counts of having firearms as a felon and one count of removing the serial number from a gun. The charges were filed at the federal level following an investigation into the death of Zion Brooks outside The Arbors apartment complex.
According to court records, Logan was found in possession of multiple firearms, including two pistols, two shotguns, a rifle, and ammunition. This discovery led investigators to learn that Brooks also had a gun on him during the incident.
The state charges against Logan have been dropped, but he now faces serious federal penalties if convicted. Each count carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison, which could add up to a total of 60 years behind bars for Logan.
