Fatal Road Rage Incident in Hennepin County: Man Struck and Killed in Golden Valley – trfnews.i234.me

Golden Valley, MN (trfnews.i234.me) — On Friday, May 30, 2025, at approximately 11:50 p.m., a road rage incident in Golden Valley escalated into a fatal crash near the intersection of Highway 100 and Duluth Street.

According to Golden Valley Assistant Police Chief Rudy Perez, the confrontation began on Highway 100 and continued onto Duluth Street. The victim, a man in his 40s, was reportedly driving erratically, prompting a passenger in his vehicle to urge him to pull over. Upon exiting his vehicle, the man was struck by a car driven by a 40-year-old woman from Mounds View.

Emergency responders and the Golden Valley Fire Department provided medical aid at the scene. The victim was transported to North Memorial Health Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver was arrested on probable cause for criminal vehicular manslaughter.

The Golden Valley Police Department is investigating the incident in collaboration with the Hennepin County Crime Lab and the Minnesota State Patrol Crash Reconstruction Unit. Authorities have identified all parties involved and are reviewing surveillance footage and witness statements.
