A woman from Fergus Falls, McKayla Ann Schicker (27), died in a crash involving a boom truck over the weekend in Otter Tail County. The Minnesota State Patrol reports that Schicker was driving a northbound 2004 GMC Envoy when it collided with a southbound 2002 GMC C-Series Boom Truck. The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Road conditions at the time were wet. Schicker was not wearing a seatbelt. The driver of the boom truck, Henry Francis Gibbs (23) of Battle Lake, was uninjured in the incident.
