LITTLE FALLS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A tragic ATV accident claimed the life of a 37-year-old woman from Little Falls on Saturday evening. The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reported that at approximately 5:40 p.m., they received a call about an ATV crash on 110th Avenue near 95th Street, roughly four miles southwest of Little Falls in Swan River Township.
The victim, identified as Amber Sassen, was driving an ATV northbound on 110th Avenue when the vehicle veered into the right ditch and rolled over. Despite life-saving efforts at the scene, Sassen was pronounced dead. Authorities noted that Sassen was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
The Bowlus Fire Department, Bowlus First Responders, and Mayo Clinic Ambulance assisted the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office.
