Farm Accident East of Langdon, ND, Leaves Man with Serious Hand Injuries

LANGDON, ND (trfnews.i234.me)—A serious farm accident occurred Monday afternoon, approximately six miles east of Langdon, leaving a man from Walla, ND, with severe hand injuries. Cavalier County Sheriff Matt Wright provided details of the incident, which took place during unloading operations on the farm.

According to Sheriff Wright, the victim’s hand was injured by farm equipment, though it’s unclear whether it was caused by an auger or belts. The man suffered injuries to one hand, including damage to a finger or multiple fingers.

Emergency responders arrived promptly, and the victim was airlifted to a hospital. While the exact destination—whether Fargo or Minneapolis—has not been confirmed, the man was reported to be in stable condition.

This incident highlights the dangers of working with farm equipment and serves as a reminder for caution and safety during agricultural operations.
