Cass County ( trfnews.i234.me ) – A criminal investigation is underway at Davies High School in Fargo involving the creation and distribution of sexually explicit images on Snapchat. The case is being handled by the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI).
According to Fargo Public Schools Chief Communications Officer Anarie Campbell, the district was informed about the investigation and has been cooperating with state authorities. On Monday, September 22, the BCI executed a search warrant at Davies High School. Investigators were searching for personal property belonging to specific students.
Campbell confirmed both the district and school staff are working closely with investigators as the matter continues. Details about the students involved or the nature of the images have not been released at this time. No arrests have been publicly reported.
The use of social media platforms like Snapchat in distributing explicit content among minors has been an increasing concern for law enforcement and schools across the country.
