Fargo, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A Fargo woman accused of stealing thousands of dollars from two local businesses has now pleaded guilty in one of the cases and been sentenced, according to court records filed Monday, July 14.

Alexis Engelking pleaded guilty to stealing approximately $13,750 from her former employer, Fargo Linoleum. As part of a plea agreement, her felony theft charge was reduced to a misdemeanor.

The judge’s ruling included:

  • 35-day jail sentence, with 30 days credited for time already served

  • Engelking will serve the remaining 5 days starting Monday at 7:00 p.m.

  • Following the release, she will be placed on 18 months of probation

  • She must also pay $3,987.42 in restitution to Fargo Linoleum

While this case is now resolved, Engelking still faces a second theft case, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for Wednesday, July 16 at 9:00 a.m.
