Fargo, ND (trfnews.i234.me) — A Fargo woman, Julianne Page Smart, is facing a felony charge for allegedly assaulting a police officer following a crash early on December 4, 2025.
According to court documents, authorities responded to a report of a possibly impaired driver at 2:57 a.m. on Second Avenue and University Drive North. The driver, identified as Smart, had struck a barricade in the area.
When officers arrived, Smart admitted to drinking heavily but refused to undergo alcohol testing. As she was being escorted to the squad car, Smart allegedly kicked one of the officers in the hand.
As a result of the incident, Smart is now charged with felony simple assault of a police officer. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident. For more details, visit the Fargo Police Department’s official page.
