Fargo Woman Charged After Selling Ex-Husband’s Truck
FARGO, ND ( trfnews.i234.me ) — A Fargo woman is facing a felony theft charge after allegedly selling her ex-husband’s pickup truck to a local salvage yard without his permission.
According to Cass County court documents, Karen M. Bromley of Fargo is charged in connection with an August incident involving the unauthorized sale of a Chevrolet Silverado belonging to her ex-husband.
Investigators say Bromley allegedly took the truck to a Fargo-area salvage yard, where she sold it for $150. The vehicle was later discovered missing, prompting a police investigation that led to the salvage yard and, ultimately, to Bromley.
She is now charged with felony theft by deception for allegedly profiting from the sale of property she did not own. The salvage yard has cooperated with investigators as the case moves forward.
Bromley has not yet entered a plea in the case. No other suspects are believed to be involved. The vehicle’s condition at the time of sale has not been detailed in the court documents.
