Cass County ( trfnews.i234.me ) – A Fargo woman is facing a felony charge after a tense confrontation with an armed homeowner. According to court records, the incident happened on September 2nd at 10:44 a.m. in Fargo.

Officers were dispatched to a residence after reports of a criminal trespass. The female homeowner told police that Angelina Fawn Byron began banging on her door before forcing her way inside. At the time, the homeowner had a .22 caliber rifle with her for protection.

The victim said Byron walked straight into the house, demanding, “Where’s my boyfriend?” She claimed Byron insisted her boyfriend was inside with his Xbox. The homeowner told Byron no one was there and pushed her out of the house. Byron then left in a van but was later arrested by officers.

Byron is now charged with felony criminal trespass. Authorities say the case underscores the potential dangers of unexpected confrontations inside private homes.

Criminal trespass is treated as a serious offense under North Dakota law, particularly when it involves unlawful entry into occupied residences. If convicted, Byron could face significant penalties, including prison time.
