Fargo, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A 35-year-old Fargo woman is behind bars after a shocking and unprovoked stabbing that occurred Saturday morning, July 12, according to the Fargo Police Department (FPD).
At 9:50 a.m., officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 1300 block of 3rd Avenue North. Upon arrival, they located an adult male victim suffering from a stab wound to the neck.
Using surveillance footage, officers quickly identified and tracked down the suspect, Jessica McCroskey.

Police say McCroskey and the victim were not acquainted.

The victim confronted McCroskey after finding her walking on his property.

Without warning, McCroskey allegedly stabbed the man in the neck and fled on foot.

The victim sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local medical facility for treatment.

McCroskey was apprehended shortly after the incident and taken into custody without incident.
She has been arrested on charges of:

Aggravated Assault

Attempted Murder
