Fargo, North Dakota (trfnews.i234.me) — A Fargo woman is facing new felony charges after police say she walked out of a store with nearly $2,000 in merchandise.
Norma A. Ozuna of Fargo is charged with felony theft of property and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to court records.
Report from the store
According to an incident report, officers responded to Macy’s on 13th Avenue South in Fargo on Dec. 15.
The call came in as a report of an adult shoplifter, the report states.
Investigators allege Ozuna selected store items and left without paying.
The reported value of the merchandise was $1,984.

Warrants listed in records
Court records say Ozuna already had active warrants at the time of the arrest.
Records list a felony warrant out of Clay County, Minnesota.
Records also list a probation violation warrant out of Cass County.

Items found during arrest
According to the report, Ozuna was searched during the arrest process.
The report alleges she had a small plastic baggie with white powder residue.
The report also alleges she had a small, burnt piece of foil in her pocket.
Those items were described as possible drug paraphernalia in the filing.
Prior case noted
Court records also describe a prior conviction involving Ozuna.
Records say she pleaded guilty on Oct. 10 to possession of drug paraphernalia, second offense.
That case was separate from the new allegations, court records indicate.
What happens next
Ozuna is expected to make court appearances in North Dakota.
Charges are not proof of guilt.
The case will be decided in court.
