Arrest on a Cass County warrant
Police said Fabian Contreras, 33, of Fargo, was arrested during the warrant service.
He was arrested on a Cass County warrant for failure to appear in court.
Police said the failure to appear warrant is tied to a theft-related case.
Police did not release more details about the theft case on Friday morning.

What SWAT teams do
SWAT teams are used for high-risk calls and higher-risk warrant service.
They can help secure a scene and reduce risk to the public.
Police did not say why SWAT was used in this case.
What “failure to appear” can mean
A failure to appear warrant is issued when a person misses a required court hearing.
Courts can issue these warrants in criminal and traffic cases.
A warrant can lead to arrest during a later police contact.
It can also lead to jail until a judge reviews the case.
What we don’t know yet
Police have not said if anyone else was sought at the address.
They have not said if any items were taken as evidence.
No new charges have been announced from the search warrant.
As with any case, the allegations remain unproven in court.
