FARGO, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) — Fargo police say officers served a search warrant Friday night in a missing person case involving 24-year-old Isadora Wengel.

Police said the case started with the West Fargo Police Department. Police reported Wengel missing during that agency’s investigation.

Search Warrant Served Friday

Fargo police said the warrant was served at about 6:08 p.m. The location was the 4,400 block of Calico Drive South.

Police said information suggested evidence could be inside an apartment at that address. Fargo police requested help from SWAT during the search.

Police said SWAT used a diversion device during entry. Police said the team also forced the door open.

One person inside was detained during the operation. Police said that the person was later released.

Landfill Search Added

Police said investigators are still processing the scene. Police said the search for evidence has expanded.

Police said the work now includes the City of Fargo Landfill.

Police said they are working with landfill staff. They are searching the area tied to trash pickup from Calico Drive South.

Agencies Assisting

Fargo police said West Fargo police are assisting with the case. Fargo police also requested help from the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

Police said there have been no arrests in the missing person case. Police also said there is no active threat to the public.

Police have not released more details about what led to the warrant. Police have not said when Isadora Wengel was last seen.
