Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) – Chaos erupted Saturday night in Fargo when a man wanted by authorities barricaded himself inside an apartment, prompting a full-scale SWAT operation.

It began when 44-year-old Landar Moore of Moorhead allegedly entered a resident’s apartment uninvited. The resident, who recognized him from prior connections, asked him to leave and called the police upon learning he was a wanted fugitive. As officers arrived around 4:30 p.m., Moore ran into another apartment and barricaded himself inside.

Over a dozen squad cars responded. According to a resident familiar with the layout, Moore forced his way into a locked basement area to evade capture. Around 10:30 p.m., the Fargo SWAT team used flashbangs and a battering ram to breach the window and door. Moore was found hiding in the basement and arrested without gunfire.

Moore was taken into custody on a probation violation related to robbery and forgery convictions. He also had a Clay County warrant for resisting arrest and refusing to halt.
