FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – In a swift and coordinated operation, the Red River Valley SWAT team successfully apprehended Travis Holt, a suspect in a reported sexual assault case in Fargo. The incident unfolded early Saturday morning following a distressing call to authorities regarding the assault.

Travis Holt, a 39-year-old resident of Fargo with a history of criminal activity, was identified as the suspect by the victim, who courageously came forward to report the assault. Holt resided in the same apartment complex as the victim, located in the 2600 block of 8th St. N.

Upon attempting to communicate with Holt, Fargo officers faced resistance as he refused to exit his apartment. Recognizing the potential danger posed by the suspect’s criminal history, the Red River Valley SWAT team was swiftly deployed to assist in his apprehension.

Utilizing specialized tactics and non-lethal methods, including flash sound diversionary devices and gas, the SWAT team overcame Holt’s resistance and safely took him into custody. Travis Holt was subsequently charged with aggravated assault, felony trespassing, forced gross sexual imposition, and kidnapping.

Currently held in the Cass County Jail, Holt awaits further legal proceedings as the investigation into the assault continues.
