Fargo Suspect Fatally Shot, One in Custody, Another on the Run

FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) One man was shot and killed by a Fargo Police Officer Friday morning. A second suspect was arrested and a third remains on the run.
fargo police shot and killed a suspect friday morning one other suspect remains at large this in from fargo police quote at 11 13 a.m friday fargo police arrived on the scene of a call for service for a possible man down within the 3400 block of 15th avenue south in fargo the caller stated multiple individuals will slumped over within a vehicle located in a garage the caller also reported the vehicle had a bullet hole in the windshield fargo officers arrived on scene and located three individuals inside a red 2008 kia sedona that was later found to have been reported stolen on tuesday as fargo officers approached the van inside the garage the driver of the van quickly accelerated and fled the scene an officer discharged a firearm toward the van striking the driver the two passengers in the vehicle fled on foot officers apprehended one suspect near the scene cody dunn a 25-year-old white male with no permanent address was arrested and charged with a refusal to halt and possession of a controlled substance the second passenger continued to flee on foot the driver of the van a 28 year old native american male last known to reside in jamestown was transported to a local health care facility where he later died fargo police have notified next of kin no additional information about this individual is being released at this time fargo police are continuing to seek the public’s assistance in locating the second passenger he is believed to be approximately five nine to five eleven with a medium build and short hair the suspect was last seen wearing a light blue t-shirt with light blue jeans fleeing on foot southbound in the 1600 block of 35th street south if the member of the public locates this individual they are advised to refrain from approaching or attempting to apprehend him call 911. anyone with information is asked to call red river regional dispatch non-emergency line at 701 451 7660 the north dakota bureau of criminal investigation will conduct an investigation into the officer’s use of force over the course of the next several days the fargo police officer 11 an 11 year veteran with fargo police has been paid place on paid administrative duty while the bci investigates this incident as the investigation progresses information will be released as it becomes available i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
