Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) — A suspect has been arrested in connection with a violent assault in Fargo earlier this month.
Fargo police say 19-year-old Tabias Jamal Walker, who has no permanent address, was taken into custody on Sunday, August 10. The arrest was made in Moorhead with assistance from Moorhead Police and the Metro Area Street Crimes Unit.
Walker is accused of aggravated assault linked to an incident on August 3 in the 300 block of Broadway North. Police say the victim, a 55-year-old man, remains in critical condition at a local medical facility.
Authorities have not released further details on the nature of the assault, and it is unclear if a weapon was used.
Walker is being held at the Clay County Jail. The case has been referred to the Cass County State’s Attorney’s Office for formal charges and extradition proceedings.
Police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information to contact their office.
