Fargo, North Dakota (trfnews.i234.me)— A Fargo man is facing a felony terrorizing charge after his roommate recorded him allegedly making a violent knife threat.
According to court documents, on March 5th, police responded to a disturbance involving a knife at a Fargo residence. The victim reported that his roommate, Michael Stephen Haug, had been acting erratically for the past four days. Things took a terrifying turn when Haug allegedly held a knife with a 3-inch blade just inches from his roommate’s face and threatened to “take his whole effing head off.”
When police arrived, they found Haug visibly agitated. He denied ever pulling out a knife, but the victim had video evidence of part of the incident.
Haug was arrested on the spot and now faces serious felony charges for terrorizing.
Did you know? In North Dakota, a felony terrorizing conviction can result in up to 5 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
