Fargo, Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) A Fargo man told police he was threatened in an alley. He was forced to hand over cash. The case was first logged as a report. It was later filed as a felony robbery charge.

Police say Kom P.C. Draeger, of Fargo, is the suspect. The incident happened in October 2025. The report lists Roberts Alley near the Roberts Common garage entrance.

What the police say happened

The victim said he walked to the garage door. He pressed the handicap button to open it. He then stepped back and looked inside.

The victim said a tall man appeared in the doorway. He said the man was about 6-foot-2. He said the man had an athletic build. The victim said he felt startled.

The victim said he decided not to enter the building. He turned and walked south in the alley. He said the man yelled and chased him.

The victim said the man demanded he come back. The victim kept walking. He said he went about 10 to 15 steps.

The victim said the man then cut him off. He said the man stood in front of him. He said the man accused him of kicking in the door.

The victim denied the claim. He said he only pressed the door button. The victim said the man made threats. The report quotes threats about slamming him to the ground.

The victim said he tried to calm things down. He said he looked at the ground. He said he avoided eye contact.

The victim said the man asked if he had money. The victim said he slowly opened his wallet. He said the wallet had small bills and one $20 bill.

The victim said the man demanded the $20. The victim said he handed it over. The report says the man then told him to keep his belongings. The victim said the man walked back toward the building.

Why did the charge come later

Police noted no weapon was reported. Police also noted no one was hurt. An officer first felt it did not meet a felony standard.

The case was later reviewed again. Police then asked for a felony robbery charge. Court documents list Draeger as the defendant.
