Fargo (trfnews.i234.me) – The Fargo Police Department is asking the public for assistance in locating a vehicle involved in a shots-fired incident earlier this month.
On Friday, Dec. 19, police released information about a blue SUV with dark windows. It is suspected to be connected to an incident on Dec. 9 at 4:41 a.m. in the 3600 block of 42nd Street South. This area is residential, with both apartments and single-family homes.
According to Lt. Tom Shaw of the Fargo Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division, the vehicle was noted for its “noticeably loud exhaust.” Despite the gunfire, no injuries were reported at the scene. Officers found minor damage to a structure in the area the following day. However, no estimate of the damage was provided.

The police are urging anyone with information about the vehicle to contact the Fargo Police Department at 701-241-5777. Anonymous tips can be sent by texting the keyword FARGOPD to 847411.
The investigation is ongoing, and police did not release any further details on the incident as of Friday afternoon.
