Michael Hurteau

FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Fargo Police have clarified the motive behind the stabbing of two individuals on Sunday, stating that the attack is not connected to the Fargo-Moorhead Pride Parade. Michael Heru, a homeless man in Fargo, is facing felony charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault following the incident. Despite the proximity to the Pride Parade, Captain Alel of the Fargo Police Department emphasized that the parade was not a factor in the attack. “Based on the preliminary evidence and witness statements, there is no indication that the Pride Parade was a motive behind this unfortunate event,” Alel stated. The investigation remains ongoing, with police thoroughly examining all possible motives and circumstances surrounding the case. The safety and security of the community remain the department’s top priority.
