Fargo Police Investigating Unprecedented Wave of 100 Overnight Car Break-Ins

FARGO, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) — The Fargo Police Department is investigating a massive surge of nearly 100 car break-ins that occurred overnight throughout the city. Police have released images of a suspect involved in several incidents and are urging residents to inspect their vehicles for signs of tampering or theft.

To protect against future break-ins, Fargo PD advises residents to lock their vehicles, remove valuables, park in well-lit areas, and install security devices. Suspicious activity should be reported immediately.

“This is the largest unlawful vehicle entry crime spree I’ve seen during my time here,” said Bill Ahlfeldt, Captain of the FPD Criminal Investigations Division. Anyone with information about the break-ins is asked to contact the Red River Regional Dispatch Center at 701-451-7660.
