Fargo Police Declare Monday Night Shooting a Murder Investigation; Suspects at Large

FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – The Monday night shooting incident in Fargo has now escalated to a murder investigation, according to Fargo police. On Monday at 8:16 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of 6th Avenue South in response to a shooting report. Upon arrival, they discovered a victim with a severe gunshot wound to the face. The suspects had fled the scene before officers arrived.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment but was pronounced deceased despite life-saving efforts. Fargo police will release the name of the victim within approximately 24 hours, pending notification of next of kin.

After investigating the scene and interviewing witnesses, officers believe the involved parties were known to each other. The Fargo Police Department’s criminal investigations division is working diligently to uncover more details about the circumstances surrounding this incident.
