Fargo Police Conduct Targeted Traffic Enforcement on 42nd Street South

FARGO, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) – On Thursday, January 16, from 2 to 3 p.m., Fargo Police conducted a traffic enforcement operation in the 4400 block of 42nd Street South. This initiative aimed to address traffic violations and improve roadway safety following community reports of unsafe driving behaviors.

Analysis by the Traffic Safety Team identified speeding in a school zone as the most common violation. During the one-hour operation, officers made 10 traffic stops, issuing 10 citations for speeding with a school-zone enhancement, one citation for exhibition driving, and two warnings for expired vehicle registration.

Residents can report traffic safety concerns in their neighborhoods by visiting FargoPolice.com/TrafficConcerns and completing the Traffic Concerns contact form. Community input assists in identifying problem areas and ensuring effective resource allocation for safer streets.
