Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) — Authorities have identified the Fargo man killed in a Saturday motorcycle crash as 31-year-old Alex Frank.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports the crash happened at 1:55 p.m. at the intersection of 29th Avenue North and Broadway in Fargo.
Investigators say a Toyota, driven by Rebecca Radeck, was stopped westbound on 29th Avenue North at a red light. When the light turned green, the Toyota entered the intersection.
A Yamaha sport motorcycle, driven by Frank, was traveling southbound on Broadway at a high rate of speed. Troopers say he failed to stop at the red light and struck the Toyota’s passenger side in a T-bone style collision.
Frank was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Toyota driver was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
