FARGO, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) – Fargo Police arrested 32-year-old Taylor Meyer on January 28 after he attempted to evade officers during a traffic stop.
Officers initially attempted to pull him over in the 200 block of University Dr. S. around 4 p.m., but he refused to stop. The pursuit was discontinued for safety reasons, but authorities tracked his vehicle to a residence in the 1500 block of 34th Ave. S. using the Automated License Plate Reader system.
When officers arrived and tried to make contact, Meyer ran into the home. Investigators say he had active felony warrants for dangerous drugs in Clay County and a Cass County warrant for refusal to halt.
After a 40-minute standoff, Meyer finally surrendered and was taken into custody. He now faces additional charges of fleeing a peace officer and refusal to halt, in addition to his outstanding felony warrants.
🚔 Authorities are urging the public to report any suspicious activity related to fugitives in the area.
