Cass County (trfnews.i234.me)A Fargo man is facing a felony charge after allegedly threatening to kill another individual with a sheetrock saw at the New Life Center, a homeless transition facility in Fargo.

According to the incident report, on May 17, 2025, just before 11 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance involving a knife at the New Life Center. The male victim reported that after an initial fistfight with Iriel Hernandez Castillo, the altercation seemed to have ended. However, Castillo allegedly returned shortly thereafter, wielding a bladed weapon, identified as a sheet rock saw, and threatened the victim, stating, “I am going to kill you.”

Fearing for his life, the victim managed to retreat behind a barracks door and held it shut while Castillo attempted to force entry. Security footage corroborated the victim’s account of the events.

Castillo was arrested and is now charged with felony terrorizing.
