Fargo, Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Fargo man is facing a felony terrorizing charge following a disturbing confrontation with his neighbor over internet access.
According to court documents, officers responded to an apartment in the 1200 block of 10th Street North in Fargo on July 7th. The suspect, identified as Charles Lee Parsons, had allegedly been arguing with a neighbor over the use of his Wi-Fi. The argument quickly escalated.
Parsons is accused of telling the neighbor that he had a gun and was going to “take care of the problem,” a statement that prompted the felony charge. Police say no weapon was located during the initial response, but the threat alone was enough to land Parsons in serious legal trouble.
He now faces one count of felony terrorizing, a serious charge that could lead to significant prison time if convicted.
