FARGO, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) —Travis Holt, a 39-year-old resident of Fargo, has entered guilty pleas to several charges: gross sexual imposition, kidnapping, aggravated assault, and possession of methamphetamine. In exchange for these pleas, criminal trespass, and terrorizing charges have been dismissed.

The charges stem from an incident in March 2024, where Holt forcibly entered a neighbor’s apartment in the 2600 block of 8th Street North. He then compelled the neighbor into his apartment, where he assaulted and sexually assaulted her. Due to Holt’s extensive criminal history, the Red River Valley SWAT Team was deployed to apprehend him. He was arrested after a standoff that involved the use of non-lethal measures.

Holt is scheduled for sentencing on March 24.
