Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) — On May 14, Fargo resident Sheldon Lee Demery was arrested following a dramatic sequence of events that began with a routine bicycle patrol. An officer recognized Demery, who had outstanding warrants, and attempted to stop him. Demery fled on foot, leading officers on a chase that culminated in him forcibly entering a nearby apartment.
A K9 unit was deployed and successfully located Demery inside the apartment. Officers had to physically remove him from the premises. Upon his arrest, Demery was found in possession of drug paraphernalia.
Demery now faces multiple charges, including:
