Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Fargo man is now facing serious charges after being found unlawfully inside a residential building’s basement — and in possession of meth-related paraphernalia — on July 4th.

According to police reports, officers responded around 9:06 a.m. to a call from a Fargo homeowner who reported unauthorized individuals in the lower level of their complex. The homeowner permitted officers to enter and requested criminal charges be filed.

Once inside, officers located Kristopher David Wilkins Jr., who claimed that he and a friend had stayed the night and were preparing to leave. However, the second man fled the scene and has not been located.

A search of Wilkins and his belongings turned up pipes containing meth residue. He was arrested and is now charged with felony criminal trespass and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
