Fargo Man Faces Multiple Charges for Assaulting Woman with Protection Order

CLAY COUNTY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A Fargo man is facing a long string of criminal charges after allegedly assaulting a woman in Clay County, Minnesota, who had a protection order against him. According to court documents, 34-year-old Daniel Myles was charged with multiple brutal assaults against the woman between June 18th and 19th.

Myles allegedly showed up at the victim’s residence and strangled her multiple times. The victim reported to the police that she lost consciousness during the attacks and that Myles pushed one of her children out of the room while he was strangling her. The victim also stated that Myles threatened to kill her, her children, and her family if she did not drop a current domestic violence case against him.

The victim managed to call the police when Myles fell asleep, leading to his arrest at the residence. Daniel Myles is now charged with two counts of first-degree aggravated tampering with a witness, two counts of domestic assault by strangulation, threats of violence, disrupting a 911 call, and three counts of violating a protection order.
