Fargo Man Charged with Felony Theft After Allegedly Stealing $1,400 During Odd Jobs

CASS COUNTY, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Jonathan Peoples, a Fargo resident, is now facing serious criminal charges after allegedly stealing $1,400 in cash while performing odd jobs at a Cass County home. According to court documents, the victim reported the missing cash after hiring Peoples for various tasks around the property.

During the investigation, Peoples allegedly provided officers with a false name and was found in possession of methamphetamine. He has been charged with felony theft of property, as well as misdemeanors for providing false information to law enforcement and possession of meth. Additionally, Peoples had an outstanding warrant from Cook County, Illinois, for a stolen vehicle.
