CASS COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) – A Fargo man is facing felony terrorizing domestic violence charges after a Sunday night incident involving threats toward a woman and her daughter.
According to court documents, Alvin T. Logan of Fargo was arrested after police responded to a domestic disturbance at a Fargo residence around 11:30 p.m. Multiple officers arrived at the scene, and Logan reportedly attempted to flee on foot before being taken into custody nearby.
Investigators say the victims told officers that Logan had made violent threats, stating that if he were jailed or deported back to Africa, the woman would be “dead within a week.”
Authorities confirmed that no serious physical injuries were reported, but the verbal threats and past domestic history led to two felony counts of terrorizing, domestic violence being filed against Logan.
The case highlights ongoing efforts by law enforcement to address domestic-related threats and intimidation, which are treated as serious felonies under North Dakota law.
Logan remains in custody pending his initial court appearance. The Cass County State’s Attorney’s Office is handling the prosecution.
