According to court documents, Vales allegedly confronted another man in the parking lot, accusing him of stealing his Cash App card and threatening him with a handgun.

Subsequent investigations revealed that someone else had taken Vales’s card. Upon learning this, Vales reportedly called the victim to apologize for the confrontation.

Despite the apology, authorities have charged Vales with felony terrorizing due to the severity of the alleged threat.
