Fargo Man Charged with Felony Robbery for Allegedly Stealing Shoes from Local Store

FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A Fargo man, Quintin K. Bates, has been charged with felony robbery after allegedly stealing shoes and other items from a store on Ficner Drive. According to court documents, on May 15th, police were dispatched to Jag Clothing after the store’s owner reported that Bates had concealed multiple clothing items and attempted to leave without paying.

When the owner confronted him at the door, Bates allegedly shoved her in the neck with his forearm, causing her to fall into a coat rack. Bates fled the scene but was arrested on May 20th. As of May 22nd, 2024, he remains in jail facing robbery charges.
