📍 Fargo, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Jamarr Upshaw is facing two counts of domestic violence after allegedly attacking his girlfriend on January 4, 2025, during a domestic dispute in their apartment.


📌 Allegations & Incident Details

📅 January 4:
🚨 Fargo Police responded to a domestic violence report at an apartment.
👩 The victim, Upshaw’s former live-in girlfriend, told officers they had been in an on-and-off relationship for four years.

🔴 The victim described a violent attack:
✔️ Upshaw grabbed her face and neck, causing scratches.
✔️ He pushed her to the ground and dragged her back to the bedroom by her hair.
✔️ He then grabbed her throat, crushing her esophagus and blocking her breathing for “what felt like minutes.”


🗣️ Upshaw’s Statement & Arrest

🗨️ Upshaw denied physically assaulting the victim, claiming they only had a verbal argument.
🔍 Upon searching Upshaw, officers found a marijuana vape pen, leading to an additional charge for possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
