Fargo: Man Charged as Robbery Accomplice

Fargo, Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) — Martell A. Wilson of Fargo has been charged with felony accomplice to robbery, court records show.

A juvenile male, described as a relative of Wilson, was detained on an allegation of robbery. The juvenile is not being named.

Charges filed

The felony accomplice charge alleges Wilson helped the robbery happen. Prosecutors say he acted with the juvenile suspect during the theft.

The juvenile case will be handled in juvenile court. Those records are often limited to protect minors. That can reduce public details.

What court documents allege

According to the criminal complaint, another juvenile was trying to sell a pair of shoes and pants. The complaint says the buyer was the juvenile suspect.

During the meeting, the juvenile suspect allegedly pointed a Glock-style BB gun at the seller. The complaint says Wilson and the juvenile then took the items.

A BB gun is not a firearm, but it can look real. Police often warn that replicas can raise the risk during confrontations.

The pair allegedly ran into an apartment after the theft. Investigators did not release more information about the juvenile suspect.

Evidence police say they found

Officers later searched the apartment listed in the complaint. Police say they found the stolen shoes and pants in Wilson’s bedroom.

Police also reported finding a Glock-style BB gun inside a safe. The safe was in the same bedroom, according to court documents.

How to follow the case

Wilson’s case will move through the North Dakota district court. Public case information is available through the North Dakota Courts Records Inquiry.

Robbery and related offenses are outlined in the North Dakota Century Code, Chapter 12.1-22. A criminal charge is not a conviction.
