FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) — A Fargo man is facing felony and misdemeanor charges after allegedly threatening to kill a family member who refused to give him money for a motel room.
According to court documents, Peter Matthew Dullea of Fargo has been charged with felony terrorizing domestic violence, and misdemeanor false information to law enforcement.
On October 26, a family member reported that Dullea demanded money to pay for a motel stay. When the request was denied, Dullea allegedly told the relative he was coming to the house to “slit their throats.”
Fargo Police responded and arrested Dullea in the victim’s driveway shortly after the threat was reported. He was taken into custody without further incident and is now facing charges in Cass County District Court.
No injuries were reported. Authorities have not released further details about Dullea’s motive or whether weapons were found during his arrest.
Under North Dakota law, terrorizing is a felony offense that carries a potential prison sentence of up to five years and a $10,000 fine.
