Fargo (trfnews.i234.me) – A Fargo man is facing serious charges following a violent confrontation with his ex-girlfriend earlier this month.

According to court documents, the incident occurred on September 9 when Sage Paul allegedly forced his way into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment. The victim told police he refused to leave once inside.

At one point, Paul allegedly held a knife to the victim’s throat, pinning her down and making threats. The victim reported the attack immediately after the incident, leading to a quick police response.

When officers arrived, they arrested Paul without further incident. Court documents note that Paul had a self-inflicted cut on his arm at the time of his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported for treatment before being booked into jail.

Prosecutors have charged Paul with felony counts of burglary and terrorizing, as well as a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief. The case is now filed in Cass County District Court.

Authorities stress that domestic violence cases involving weapons remain a top concern in the community. They encourage victims to reach out for support and report threats immediately.
