Fargo ( trfnews.i234.me ) — A Fargo man is facing felony charges after an early morning incident that left a home and vehicles damaged on August 19.
According to court documents, Issac Harrison Teegarden has been charged with attempted criminal trespass and criminal mischief. Officers responded at 2:14 a.m. to a report of a burglary in progress at a Fargo residence. Homeowners told police that Teegarden, a relative, was outside yelling, “Let me in.”
Investigators reported that multiple screen doors at the home appeared to have been cut with a knife. Several windows had been broken, and two different vehicles parked at the residence had their tires slashed. Police later reviewed surveillance video that captured portions of the incident.
Teegarden was taken into custody at his Fargo residence without incident. Authorities have not released further information on possible motives, but court filings confirm the case is moving forward under Cass County prosecutors.
The attempted criminal trespass charge is classified as a felony and carries potential prison time if convicted. The criminal mischief charge also carries significant penalties, especially given the reported damage to property and vehicles.
No injuries were reported during the incident. Police say the case serves as a reminder for residents to secure their homes and use surveillance systems when possible, as video evidence often plays a role in prosecutions. The investigation remains ongoing.
