Fargo, North Dakota (trfnews.i234.me) – A Fargo man, Odus Maxwell, was arrested Saturday night on charges of aggravated assault following a shooting earlier that morning.
At approximately 11:03 a.m., Fargo police responded to a local hospital after a male victim arrived with a gunshot wound. According to the victim, the shooting occurred when he was leaving a residence in North Fargo. He reported hearing a pop and realized he had been shot. The victim told a passerby, who assisted him by taking him to the hospital.

Witnesses at the scene reported an altercation inside the residence on North 10th Street between the victim and Maxwell, who were known to each other. The incident led to the shooting, and authorities were contacted by a witness.
Maxwell, a 50-year-old Fargo resident, was taken into custody and is being held on a pending formal charge of aggravated assault.
As of now, no further details regarding the altercation or the victim’s condition have been released. Fargo police continue to investigate the incident.
