FARGO (trfnews.i234.me) – Francis Ochiti, a 28-year-old man from Fargo, was taken into custody by Moorhead police for his alleged involvement in a shooting incident that occurred on Saturday at a residence located in the 3600 block of 39th Street S.
According to reports, Ochiti’s brother identified him as the suspect but stated he had fled the scene. The victim, who is also Ochiti’s brother, was not injured during the incident.
On Tuesday, officers with the Metro Street Crimes Unit conducted a search warrant and arrested Ochiti without incident. A handgun believed to have been used in the shooting was found by police.
Ochiti has been taken into custody at the Cass County Jail pending formal charges related to the Moorhead shooting incident.
