Cass County, ND (trfnews.i234.me) — On May 22, 2025, the West Fargo Police Department arrested 26-year-old Aaron Lowell Cofell of Fargo following reports of sexual assault and ongoing sexual abuse of a minor under the age of 15. The investigation, initiated on May 21, led officers to locate and stop Cofell’s vehicle, where methamphetamine and related paraphernalia were discovered with assistance from the K-9 Unit. Cofell was taken into custody and is facing charges of felony gross sexual imposition, possession of methamphetamine, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
The West Fargo Police Department collaborated with the Red River Children’s Advocacy Center and Sanford CARE Clinic to ensure the minor victim received appropriate medical and comprehensive services. As this remains an active investigation, no further information has been released at this time.
