FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A Fargo man is behind bars after leading police on a foot chase through South Fargo on Wednesday morning. The incident began around 9:40 a.m. when Fargo police were dispatched to the area near 45th Avenue and 47th Street South in response to a report of an unwanted male. Upon arrival, the suspect, later identified as 23-year-old Mark Ronald Young, fled the scene on foot.
Police quickly established a perimeter and initiated a search with the assistance of a K-9 unit. A tip led officers to a nearby unoccupied residence, which Young had entered without permission. Officers entered the residence and apprehended Young without incident around 2:15 p.m.
Mark Ronald Young was arrested on multiple charges, including refusal to halt, burglary, simple assault, domestic violence, and a warrant for felony larceny. He is currently being held at the Cass County Jail, where he remains in custody as of Wednesday afternoon.
