FARGO, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) — Fargo police arrested 36-year-old Zachary Payne early Friday morning after a burglary spree targeting The Meadows Assisted Living and a nearby CVS.
Around 4:15 a.m., Payne allegedly entered multiple rooms at The Meadows, stealing a variety of items. Shortly after, police responded to a burglary report at CVS on 13th Avenue South and apprehended Payne while he was riding a bike. Officers discovered stolen cell phones from CVS, a laptop, iPad, medication, medical supplies, and food—some belonging to an occupational therapist from The Meadows.
Payne, who has a lengthy criminal history, faces charges of burglary, theft, and criminal mischief.
