Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) – Shelby Dontae Denver Whitt of Fargo, North Dakota, is now facing serious felony charges following a disturbing vehicle-related incident that left a man severely injured.
According to court documents, on June 10, 2025, the male victim attempted to assist a woman in recovering her vehicle from Whitt in the 2100 block of 21st Avenue South. During the confrontation, the victim was reportedly hanging onto the passenger door of the vehicle when Whitt suddenly drove off.
As the vehicle accelerated, the victim was violently thrown to the pavement, striking his head. Worse yet, the vehicle’s tire ran over the victim’s right leg, shattering it. Whitt allegedly fled on foot after briefly stopping the vehicle.
