FARGO, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) — Police and state agents continued searching the Fargo landfill on Sunday as the hunt continues for missing West Fargo woman Isadora Wengel.
Fargo Police say the case includes evidence linked to the 4400 block of Calico Drive South.
West Fargo Police say Wengel, 24, was last seen in the early morning hours of Jan. 5 near the 900 block of 3½ Avenue E. in West Fargo.
Landfill search continues
On Sunday afternoon, TRF News observed investigators working at the landfill.
Dumpsters and work areas were taped off near active equipment.
A backhoe was seen sifting through trash in a controlled area.
Officials have not said what items they are trying to find.
Fargo Police said the landfill search targets the disposal area tied to the Calico Drive South location.
SWAT warrant served on Friday
Fargo Police said the Red River Valley SWAT team helped serve a search warrant Friday evening.
Police said the warrant was served at about 6:08 p.m.
Police said a flash-sound diversionary device was used during entry.
Police said one person was detained during the search.
Police said that the person was later released.
Police said there have been no arrests in the case.
Police also said there is no active threat to the public.

Canines and evidence work
TRF News also learned canines were used during the investigation work.
Investigators were seen checking items from a garage, including clothing.
Officials have not released a suspect description.
Officials have not explained why the Calico Drive South address is central to the case.
